What is the Lovable Expert Program?
Lovable is an AI builder that turns plain-language conversations into working websites and web apps. As more businesses started using it, many wanted someone experienced to build for them. The Lovable Expert program is Lovable's answer: an official way to find, certify, and list the people who build on Lovable professionally.
In Lovable's own words, the program lets builders "get discovered by clients in the partner directory, earn 10% commission on every Business plan subscription you bring to Lovable, and get certified on what you've shipped."
For a business owner, that last part matters most. A certification is not a course completion slip. It is earned on real, published projects, so a Certified Lovable Expert has already shown that their work holds up in the real world. Two tracks
Certified Experts vs Certified Solution Partners.
Lovable runs two partner tracks, and knowing the difference helps you pick the right kind of help.
Certified Lovable Expert
Individual freelancers and agencies under five people building websites, apps, and internal tools for clients. Best for focused builds: a business website, a booking system, a client portal, an MVP.
Certified Solution Partner
Larger firms working with medium and large businesses on transformation programs, such as rebuilding processes, replacing legacy tools, and rolling out AI. See the Solutions Partner track.
The program is built to grow with a builder: someone can start solo as an Expert, build a team, and later switch to the Solution Partner track. For most small and medium businesses, an Expert is the right fit, because you work directly with the person building your product.
Certification
Certified on what you ship, not on an exam.
The Lovable certification is free to take and there is no exam. Lovable publishes the certification criteria so everyone knows exactly what it takes. It has two parts:
- Automated assessment. Lovable reviews the applicant's builds: published projects, real traffic, and build-quality signals.
- Academy courses. Learning modules on security, client delivery, and SEO/AEO (search and answer-engine optimization).
There are two certification tracks, and an expert can earn one or both:
Website builder
SEO foundations, custom domains, and production-ready delivery. This is what you want for a business website that needs to be found on Google.
App builder
Authentication, database security, and connectors. This is what you want for apps with logins, saved data, bookings, or payments.

Joining
How a builder becomes a listed expert.
Lovable describes four steps from application to being discovered by clients:
- Apply. Fill in the application form and wait for Lovable's reply.
- Sign and set up. Agree to the program rules, sign the agreement, and confirm a Lovable Pro plan.
- Get certified. Complete the Academy modules and pass the assessment on projects already shipped.
- Get listed. Earn the Certified Lovable Expert badge and go live in the Partner Directory.
Members also get support from Lovable on delivering client projects, including security best practices and getting apps found in search. Because of that shared training, certified experts tend to follow similar standards for security and SEO.
The directory
Inside the Lovable Partner Directory.
The Lovable Partner Directory is where businesses browse verified Solution Partners and Experts. Lovable's Work with a partner page describes it simply: see the services partners provide and the projects they have built, then contact them directly to hire them.
Each profile typically shows:
- Certification badges and partner type (Expert or Solution Partner)
- Team size, languages, and industries served
- An "About" summary in the partner's own words
- Recent projects built on Lovable, with links to view them
- A way to contact the partner and a place for past clients to leave reviews
You can filter between Experts and Solution Partners and compare profiles side by side. Lovable's promise to buyers rests on three points: verified work, certification at every level, and that you own what gets built.

In practice, a good engagement with a Certified Lovable Expert usually looks like this: a short brief, a scoping call, a fixed plan with milestones, fast building with a live preview you can review, and then launch with your own domain. After launch, you choose whether the expert keeps handling updates through a maintenance plan or you take over.
